HAS A BLACK & WHITE PHOTOCOPY OF THE MERCHANDISE INSERT, which is almost always missing. 

Has the following attributes:

PURPLE TRANSLUCENT VINYL, DOUBLE NUDE BANNED COVER, IN SHRINK WITH HYPE STICKER, MASTERDISK & RL STAMPED IN THE DEADWAX.

Up for sale is one (1) The Police - Synchronicity LP from 1983 on A&M Records (#SP-3735) with the BANNED COVER. This is the SUPER RARE PURPLE Translucent Vinyl with DOUBLE NUDE COVER, meaning there are 2 pictures of nude ladies on the cover. THIS HAS BECOME KNOWN AS THE BANNED COVER. Has the original HYPE STICKER ON THE FRONT COVER. ALSO HAS MASTERDISK & RL STAMPED IN THE DEADWAX and a photocopy of the merchandise insert.

This is an Original 1983 PURPLE TRANSLUCENT-KC-600 QUIEX AUDIOPHILE VIRGIN VINYL pressing. It is also a MASTERDISK RL pressing (Robert Ludwig). Ludwig was a master at mastering and his albums typically sound better than most. MASTERDISK stamped in dead wax on both sides. Has RL etched in the dead wax on one side. You can tell that it is Purple Translucent when held up to a light.

This is a First Pressing Purple Translucent Vinyl with DOUBLE NUDE COVER COPY STILL IN THE SHRINKWRAP WITH HYPE STICKER.

The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition, but has some minor surface marks that may cause some surface noise along the way.

Has MASTERDISK & RL stamped into the dead wax, signaling a high quality Robert Ludwig mastering. I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME. The labels are in Very Good+ condition. 

The cover is still in the original shrinkwrap with the original hype sticker and is in Very Good+ condiition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to minor corner dings and slight ring wear, etc... There are NO split seams in the cover.

 There are 2 tears in the shrink on the rear cover, a few spots with small pieces of shrink missing and some splits seams of the shrink. The cover has the remnants of the original price sticker that may come off with some elbow grease, but I'm leaving it as-is.    

The custom inner lyric sleeve is in Very Good+ condition but does have split seams on 2 sides. 

The original merchandise insert is missing, so I am including a Black & White photocopy. 

I am the original owner. I purchased this new in Chicago in 1983. It was gently played many times back in the day. Not played in over 30 years. I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME.
