Description

This is an extremely rare copy of Synchronicity by The Police with Gold, Silver, and Bronze color stripes instead of the customary red/yellow/blue.  I purchased this copy upon release in 1983 and never opened it.  One recently sold here on e-bay, but that one was an opened copy.
The Police were known for issuing collectible vinyl.  This may have been the rarest 12" vinyl they issued. 
The item is in perfect condition.  There is no ring wear and there are no corner dings.  Not even the shrink wrap has a mark on it.  The original sticker on the cover is intact, and says "This record is pressed with KC-600 audiophile vinyl."  The photos are of the copy being sold, not stock photos. Since I never opened it, I have to presume the vinyl is perfect.  Reportedly, the vinyl appears to be black but is dark purple when backlit.
It has been kept in a smoke free and pet free environment.
