Description

Description: Original 12" vinyl release LP - Hallelujah The Portsmouth Sinfonia At The Royal Albert Hall , Conducted by John Farley. Produced by Brian eno. Record label and cat number : Transatlantic TRA285 Country of release: U.K Year of Release: 1974

Vinyl/Cover condition: VG/G+. Ive not had the time to listen to this all the way through- the parts i have listened to have occasional surface noise and at times a distant click. There is certainly no major deterioration in sound quality. No sticking or jumping; I think VG is a fair visual and audio grade for this. Again i actually quite liked the music. The cover shows no sign of ever having been glued together so im assuming it was in gatefold fashion from the start- it is slightly outsize and comes in a plastic sleeve. Because its outsize it is creased -particularly along the top . No writing or rips. Writing on spine ledgible. Creasing is the main problem with this as you can probably see on the photo. Please note the descriptions for VG below- this is not in excellent or near mint condition!

Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System as follows:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACK PLEASE EMAIL ME PRIOR TO BIDDING OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID.
