The Presidents Of The United States Of America (Self-Titled) - Incredibly rare Spanish import LP, featuring the alternative cover showing the band posing with former president Bill Clinton. Only 1,000 copies were pressed, but the record was withdrawn because the band did not have the rights to use Clinton's image. It is unknown how many of these records were actually sold before the recall, and good luck finding another copy anytime soon. 
I did not know any of this when I purchased the album at Mod Lang Records in 1995, I just loved "Lump," and so I picked up a copy. At the time, Mod Lang was located at the top of University Ave. in Berkeley CA; they are now located in nearby El Cerrito, CA. Mod Lang has always been a wonderful source for import vinyl pressings and CDs, and I HIGHLY recommend you check them out. 

CONDITION: The LP is sealed and mint (archival quality). It's important to note that during the 90's, many new LPs were ONLY being pressed in Europe or Asia, and European imports were almost always NOT shrink wrapped. Record stores used their own methods to "seal" the record, and Mod Lang used the Japanese-style re-sealable mylar outer wrap. 
In my experience, once the flap is unsealed, it never quite adheres the same, and therefore, one can often tell whether the outer wrap has been open. Having said that, I understand that a prospective buyer might be skeptical about the LP's condition, and if you have ANY doubts, please don't bid on this record. I hope my exceptionally good feedback provides some assurance: I am scrupulous about LP descriptions, and I have NO interest in ripping people off...quite the opposite. I'm proud of the fact that I offer rare, out of print records with NO reserves, and very reasonable opening bids. It's the most fair approach for both buyer and seller, and, candidly, it's more fun than demanding eye-wateringly high buy-it-now prices. 

ABOUT SHIPPING AND HANDLING: Please note there is a $3 fee included in Ebay's estimate of Media Mail shipping costs. I believe the best way to way to ship an LP includes a 13"x14"x3" "pizza" style box, 12"x12" cardboard flats, outer shopping bag, and bubble wrap. The shipping boxes alone cost me over $3 each, and the average total cost of shipping materials is around $4.72, so this is NOT a money-maker for me. However, it does ensure, consistently, that these high value LPs arrive safely. Please check my feedback and I think you'll see that buyers appreciate the care with which these precious artifacts are handled. 
COMBINED SHIPPING: I am more than happy to combine shipping. Ebay buyers pay the actual postage costs. If a single LP is purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $3 for shipping materials. If two LPs are purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $3 for shipping materials. If three or more LPs are purchased, the buyer pays actual postage and $0 for shipping materials (I will absorb the cost of materials). As the final amount can only be calculated after auctions have ended, I will issue the appropriate refund on the day the LPs are shipped. 

About Me: I'm a long time Ebay buyer intent on selling a significant portion of my LP collection over the next year or two (or three!). I believe in the auction process, so I'm NOT going to list records at absurdly high prices, and I look forward to getting rare, out of print records into the hands of music lovers, record collectors and audiophiles (I consider myself all of the above).
