Description
Here's the Pretenders on their 1979 debut vinyl record LP called Pretenders on the Real Records label through WEA, with a catalogue number of RAL 3. I bought this as an already signed copy from Frantic Mail Order way back in the day and it is signed by Chrissie Hynde, Martin Chambers, James Honeyman Scott, and Pete Farndon, the latter two sadly no longer with us RIP. The track listing is in the photographs and the cover unfortunately has no barcode for Ebay to provide additional information. All photographs are of the item for sale with no stock images here.
The record has been in my collection for years and I just don't play it anymore so here goes. I bought it new but it has travelled many miles with me and has picked up minor sleeve damage from all of those different addresses. The record itself has not been played a great deal and has only minor ring smears and no scratches on the record. The disc will be housed in a Camelot Music/Discwasher custom record sleeve inside the inner sleeve to prevent damage.
The album sleeve as you can see in the photographs has some edge wear and is a little scuffed in places, graded VG here for that reason. That is a sticker on the cover that I have not attempted to remove. The inner sleeve is in great shape with only minor creasing and smears. I have tried to be true to any sleeve wear where possible in the photographs. It's the autographs that make this a rare item.
I have bought and sold vinyl records through the mail for twenty years and know how to ship properly. The record will be taken out of the front cover to prevent those annoying scuff holes in the sides of covers, this one unfortunately already having one for that same reason. It will be housed in its original inner sleeve with a plastic sleeve over it and the cover, and with two pieces of card inside. You won't be able to shake the parcel and hear the record move inside. The low starting price is because I need the sale and want to give you the chance to get this collectable record cheaper.
