The Pretty Reckless – Going To Hell (Vinyl 2014) Used: Ltd 1000 Read Description.

Note: There are several versions of this record out on the market. This is one of the two rarest which were limited to 1,000 pressings each.

The unique ID on the side of the album is 79301-83572-1 which means this is the Grey/White Marble edition that was a Limited Edition of 1000 copies with alternate artwork and a fold-out poster. There are no copies of this version of the album currently on Discogs or eBay so it was tough to price. There is one used copy of the similar pressing (red instead of grey) that also was limited to 1,000 pressings selling for $299 on Discogs and one on eBay for $240.75 + $40 shipping from the UK. I’m pricing at $250 to make sure I’m being more than fair on price.

Note, you will see a ton of the purple or black albums out there. Those sell consistently for $80 and should not be confused with the two ultra rare editions described above.

Also, all records I sell are from my personal collection and I am selling it because a divorce, the pandemic and some boredom related cleaning and organizing has pushed me to part ways with things.

I am not a vinyl expert, but I do enjoy the experience of listening to my favorite albums on vinyl. This vinyl is in great condition (my opinion, not an official rating system) and was only played a handful of times. I played it again today to verify its condition. Sounded great with a bit of intermittent surface noise / popping as you hear on all records. Though that could just be my needle or turntable. No scratches or major issues.

As you’ll seen in the pictures, which were taken by me today, there is perhaps minor shelf wear and minor corner wear. If you would like to see more angles, let me know and I can send. I’m a non-smoker with no children and kept this in my living room with my other vinyl. I am meticulous with my collection and handle my vinyl with care. Fingers have never touched the surface of any of my records.

Note: this includes a card for the MP3 download of entire album. I bought this on iTunes the day of release not realizing the album would have a download code, so I never used that card. That said, after all these years I’m not sure if the code is still valid.

As you probably know, buying vinyl is all about the packaging and this will come very well packaged in a Whiplash Mailer, which is considered by many to be the best way to ship vinyl. Take note of this Whiplash box in the pictures as well as how it will be packed. The vinyl itself will be taken out of the jacket and placed on top of the jacket, both inside a polyethylene cover. That will be placed between foam sheets with cardboard record stiffeners placed on both sides to make sure this is totally secure and does not shift during shipping. Shipping the vinyl inside the jacket can result in the record itself damaging the jacket. That will not happen here.
