Description
New Hampshire's mighty Queers recorded the songs on this record - their first - from 1986-1988 and the record was finally released in 1990 on the U.K.'s Shakin Street Records, which soon after went bankrupt. According to discogs fewer than 1000 copies were pressed. Lookout!, right here in these United States of America, repressed the LP in 1994 and reshuffled the songs, which is what you have here, and also included an insert with most of the song lyrics included. This is a GREAT album by a GREAT band that put more attitude than the Ramones into pop and bubblegum punk-styled tunes. Wax looks Excellent but plays NM, and the jacket is Excellent - great gloss and images but with a sticker residue spot and very minor edge and ring wear.
Note - I photographed several LPs on a bright fall day and on some you can see in the photos my reflection and the reflection of some decorative dried up branch things my wife put on the table. Also, some labels and coloring on various jackets may look uneven or faded when comparing front to back, etc. I assure you that everything is uniform and I stand behind all my records. For example some Posh Boy labels look uneven and shaded, but they are in reality clean and unfaded.
Keep in mind I sample all listings on a full Linn Sondek setup and go in LOUD. Mostly original owner/purchased in L.A. in 70’s/80’s from the original Poobah and Aron’s Record Stores in Pasadena and Hollywood. I am releasing my HUGE original punk collection, 100 per month. 100’s of LPs and 7”s remain – check me out! Everything else purchased along the way, including at the back of club tables at places like Raji's, Cathay de Grande, Club Lingerie, Madame Wong's.
