WOW!!!!!!!!! this is IT!! not only the highly sought after legendary folk-psych LP but it's in MONO which wasn't available to the public as all stock copies sold to the public were stereo only, in 1968. -- this is a DJ Radio Station copy, who were the only ones that received the MONO issues. Nancy Priddy was a Greenwich Village habitue (the inspiration for Stephen Stills' "Pretty Girl Why" .....'Priddy Girl Why') in the early 60's as she divided her time between N.Y. and Chicago. she made only this one album which has become as sought after as any folk psych LP on the planet. i've still yet to see this listed anywhere on ebay. --full title, "Nancy Priddy, You've Come This Way Before" on the DOT label--Gatefold cover. liner notes and bio by Priddy. lots of nice interior photos of her as she was as stunning looking as she was talented and, as a not to be neglected side note, she is the mother of cult-fave actress Christina Applegate. one of the songs on her album, 'CHRISTINA'S WORLD' surely planted the seed for naming her future child. songs range from trippy to folk-rock but are always fresh and innovative. the tenor of the songs tend to be Psychedelic and all were written by her. produced by Phil Ramone and arranged and conducted by the eclectic duo of Manny Albam and John Simon --condition of the record is MINT- looks UNPLAYED!!! cover has a couple of small radio station stickers and one piece of unneeded tape down spine-seam (radio stations tended to do this to protect gatefold covers). --the recently limited CD release is already selling for more than 3 times its initial price and it is, of course, in stereo. as stated above, this is in one-of-a-kind MONO and is the ORIGINAL U.S. vinyl LP release from 1968.-- the consensus is that no vinyl psych collection could be considered complete without this title in it. email for title tracks if needed.
