Description

The ROLLING STONES - BEGGARS BANQUET - Decca SKL 4955 - 1968 - Original UK Pressing in Gatefold Sleeve with original polylined Decca inner sleeve.

RECORD - MINT - beautiful black glossy vinyl, with barely a single hairline visible, even under strong light. Superb audio playback, with virtually no unwanted surface noises, just the odd pop between tracks. Apart from my test play, this record looks unplayed.
Runout Matrix Numbers - Side 1 - XZAL-8476-4K (stamped)                                          Side 2 - XZAL-8477-1K (stamped)
LABELS - MINT - blue and silver Decca labels are very clean and bright, with no spindle wear and no visible spindle marks. No writing or sticker marks. Pristine.
SLEEVE - VERY GOOD - original Robert Stace & Co. Ltd, outer-laminated gatefold sleeve. The sleeve is very clean and bright both front and back, with just a few very light creases mainly along the spine edges and just a touch of ringwear. However, there are two small tears, with associated creasing on the rear opening edge (see photo), which is a shame, as the rest of the sleeve is lovely and would easily grade EXCELLENT. The inside of the gatefold is very clean and bright with no marks or creasing. All corners are square with minimal wear, with just a slight 'dink' on the rear opening corner. All edges are straight with virtually no wear. The spine is straight and legible with slight creasing and a bit of wear near the middle. No writing or sticker marks.
INNER SLEEVE - EXCELLENT - original blue and white printed, generic Decca polylined paper sleeve is very clean and sharp, with just light creasing, no splits, tears, writing or sticker marks.
