Album Description and Condition:
RARE FIRST ISSUE **mono** VINYL LP is on the traditional Blue with Silver Print Decca Record Labels, with ‘Made in England’ printed to both sides of the record labels labels.
Both record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition, superb bright and undamaged record labels, showing only a few light signs of play to each centre spindle holes.
Side 1 stamped matrix: ARL-8126-2T-2K and Side 2: ARL 8127-P1.
The mother stamper markings are side1, 1H and Side 2: 1RG.
Both sides of the Heavy Vinyl LP are in Very Good Plus condition, clean and bright vinyl surfaces that show light surface hairline scratches to both sides, none of which sound when played.
Audio Quality:
The album plays with great sound quality, with mild background crackle on some, not all tracks.
The Vinyl Disc comes in it’s red inner bag, and is in Excellent condition, there are no seam splits or tears, and just light creases, this bag is made from slightly heavy quality paper than usual.
And is protected in it’s original First Issue Gatefold 3D image sleeve .
The sleeve is in superb Excellent to Excellent Plus condition, with a superb 3D image on the front. The sleeve still retains its gloss laminate to the front and reverse, with NO fading to the colours, and no signs of record indentation. There are NO seam splits to any of the edges, and just a couple of very mild corner bumps, and slight ripples to the front panel, possibly caused by storing in a damp environment.
The inner gatefold part of the sleeve is perfect and undamaged.
The reverse of the sleeve is undamaged, and is very clean, the spine edge is perfect and all print legible.
This is a nice example of this first issue mono 1967 Rolling Stones Album complete with original inner bag.
