The Residents WEIRD Eskimo Master Tape Piece #39/500 + Xmas Card 1979
Up for sale is an original W.E.I.R.D. (The Residents Official Fan Club) holiday bundle from 1979/1980. A scarce numbered set featuring the famed “A Piece of Eskimo” card with tape segment, plus the follow-up Christmas card and a fan club membership card—great ephemera for any Residents collector.
- Condition: Good vintage condition overall with age toning, scattered foxing/spotting, and edge/corner wear from storage. Xmas card shows a vertical center fold (as issued) with light surface wear; membership card has light marks. See all photos for details. Comes in protective 8.5" x 11" sleeve
- Contents: “A Piece of Eskimo” certificate (XMAS ’79) numbered No. 39 of 500; section of recording tape present on the card; W.E.I.R.D. yellow membership card marked No. 0039; Measures 10" x 8" 1980 holiday card reading “We Endorse Immediate Residents Deification.” Measures 9" x 8"
