Album originally released April 1974: Meet The Residents (Ralph Records, RR0274) with a different cover.This is the first in a series of reissues. 12,000 copies were pressed in 1977 once the 1,000 original copies above had sold out. The front cover sleeve has a light orange lettering, the back cover is black and white, and the sentence "is a division of The Cryptic Corporation" at the bottom is on two lines (on the next reissue it is on one line). The back cover reproduce the original liner notes and the original picture sleeve of the album.
All selections composed and arranged by The Residents and published by Pale Pachyderm Publishing (BMI) except Boots by Lee Hazelwood (ASCAP), Nobody But Me by Human Beinz used courtesy of Capitol Records.

"About this pressing...
Meet The Residents was originally released in 1974, on the Ralph Records label. The tapes were monaural recordings on home equipment and suffered further fidelity loss in the mastering and pressing stages. In 1976, The Cryptic Corporation came into legal possession of The Residents recordings, and began working on how to restore these original tapes to studio quality. Using the master tape as a directive, the album was disassembled, reprocessed, and reconstructed into this stereophonic version. No re-recording was employed. The artists who appear on this recording have personally approved this as an authorized realization of the original LP.

Super Hard To Find In This 1977 Original US Vintage Vinyl Edition !!!
Vinyl Is In Very Good Plus Plus To (Mostly) Near Mint Condition. (there is some very, very minor age related wear - there are a few very, very minor rubbing marks from decades spent in a cheap paper sleeve)
Cover Is In Very Good Plus Plus To (Mostly) Near Mint Condition. (there is some very, very minor age related wear - very, very minor ring wear - some very, very minor edge wear)

Please note: All of the items that I sell are from my own personal collection.
This is a large collection (that I have maintained and added to for well over 40 years),
that I am now divesting, due to mounting medical bills.
I, am not a store, or a business.
I am a private collector, selling off large parts of my personal collection.
Please Note: Despite a major surgery that I had a while ago, I am still dealing
with a lot of extreme complications and chronic disability.
As a result, this sometimes gets in the way of my e-baying.
So, if my turn around time takes a lot longer then most sellers,
(I have a 30 day shipping window) I really do apologize in advance.
I know it is a (potentially) long delivery window,
and you may want to consider this before bidding.
Also, I always ship items in proper shipping packaging, with padding
or packing peanuts or cardboard bracing as needed. I use whatever is
required in order to try and get it safely through the worldwide mail
systems. As a result, there is a small (cost) fee for the packaging materials
that I get from Box City, in order to safely ship the items.
Also, please understand this in advance, I use the e-bay calculator to
figure out postage. Sometimes, it is wrong, and presents a cost that is
higher then the actual cost at the post office. If and when this is the case,
I always refund the difference.
Please Note: Overseas Packages that go through the Customs system,
can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to Process and Deliver, This IS Normal.
For Russia and the Middle East, this can take even longer and is
completely out of my control, so please be patient.
