This is the "The Return of Ken Whaley" + "HAPPY DAYS" UK 1973 LPs by HELP YOURSELF + FLYING ACES
This is a 2 LP set and is the 4th (& 5th) LPs released by HELP YOURSELF.
The "HAPPY DAYS" LP was only issued with the 1st 5000 copies of "The Return of Ken Whaley" LP.

The LP set was bought on their release in 1973, and are a very early 1st pressing.
The LPs are on the UNITED ARTISTS label, number UDG 4001 (UAS 29487 + FREE 1) and have the following early 1st press matrix numbers:
- Return of Ken Whaley:
- Side 1: UAS 28497 A-1U with "RAYS" and "BLESS YOU ALL" etched in the blank vinyl near the label
- Side 2: UAS 28497 B-1U
- HAPPY DAYS:
- Side 1: FREE 1 A-2U
- Side 2: FREE 1 B-2U

LP1 - "Return of Ken Whaley" is NEAR MINT, superb unmarked vinyl, with no scratches,
Even looks great under a very strong light, there is just one feint surface mark on side 1 track 4, and this has no effect on the audio quality.
No noticeable label spindle marks in normal lighting.
LP2 - "HAPPY DAYS" is also NEAR MINT, superb unmarked vinyl, with no scratches or marks
Even looks great under a very strong light.
No noticeable label spindle marks in normal lighting.
PLAYTEST
Both LPs play superbly, quiet between tracks, no pops, bangs, jumping or sticking.
COVERS
The Outer Cover
The outer cover holds the 2 individual LP covers and records, and is graded EX and was not laminated.
The cover is in good shape, with just slight creasing top left and on the securing tab of the flap at the back.
Otheriwise just some general handling wear.
There is a very feint partial ringwear impression on the front and back cover, but very hard to notice.
The spine is good and undamaged with all the lettering visible.
"Return of Ken Whaley" Cover
Graded as EX+ and just a slight crease top right corner.
"HAPPY DAYS" Cover
Graded as EX+ and just a slight crease top right corner.
Both covers are in nice shape as they have been housed in the outer cover.

The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
