Durutti Column - The Return of The Durutti Column 12" vinyl LP with original sandpaper cover as glued together by Ian Curtis and Joy Division. This version has no cover stencilled type or flexi disc. FACT14A/B
I am not a dealer - just selling off some of my own record collection. I have owned this from new.
Original UK black vinyl 12"LP from 1979 on Factory Records. FACT 14A/B

Condition of Vinyl:- VERY GOOD - there is some light surface noise in the quiet bits eg at start of "Sketch for summer"side 1, track 1 and also in between tracks but overall it does play well/sound good.... and I'm sure if I could remember that far back, it probably sounded the same back in 1979/1980 when it was new! Condition of Cover:- VERY GOOD...The cover has been recently taken out of a heavy gauge pvc cover that has protected it over the years. There are a couple of areas where the sandpaper looks raised and there is "cockling" at the opening to the cover sleeve but really I'm probably being over- cautious in pointing this out....it IS 40 year old sandpaper after all!! Condition of label:- VERY GOOD -minor bits of foxing/discolouration on each side
I try to be very fair and honest with my sales - so I do think I might be regarded as conservative with my assessments of condition. I would just want you to be happy with any purchase.
Overall this IS a great item with a low start point for bidding. Good Luck. The item will be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery for peace of mind hence the cost. .
