Description
For sale is The Rezillos' Can't Stand The Rezillos, originally released in 1978 by Sire Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is stamped "Masterdisk", followed by what appears to be a tipped over wine glass and the matrix numbers WW-1/WW-1. This indicates that it was mastered at Masterdisk, N.Y.C. and that an early stamper was used to make this pressing. The wine glass is actually a representation of a Winchester rifle, signifying that this record was pressed at Capitol Record's Winchester, Virginia facility. These are all hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering and superior sound quality, sought after by collectors and music lovers. I bought this album new, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. I always put my records directly into a protective inner sleeve, thus preserving the vinyl and any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come originally with the release. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The cover is graded Excellent because of some minor corner blunts and small stress cracks around the edges. The spine has a little color loss. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent with the faintest sleeve marks, and play graded as Near Mint, a perfect pressing. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment and still has a lot of life yet. This is the best copy of this very rare record that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find this album in this condition ever again.
