Description

Here we have an original copy of German group The Rippers’ "Honesty" LP on the Saga Records label from 1968. It’s featured in Hans Pokora’s 3001 Record Collector Dreams book with a 2 stars-out-of-6 rating for rarity (and the disc actually came from Hans – though I’m keeping his old cover…). The 10 tracks are all originals, and a pretty eclectic mix musically; along with some bluesy loungey stuff, there’s a good rocker, a couple of groovy Hammond-led instros, and the awesome psych cut "My Flight" that would fit right in on a Prae Kraut Pandemonium comp!  These guys were definitely "electric loosers."
 
The both cover and disc are VG+.  The laminated front has a couple of minor creases, and there is writing on the back. The disc has audible scratches during three songs on Side One and one on Side Two; beyond that, surface noise is fairly minimal.  Kinda cool, kinda rare, and so far unreissued!
