Description
Selling BOTH of the original 1964 / 1965 Rolling Stones albums. Just starting to have a clear out.
The 'self titled' first Stones album is a rare copy with "MONA" as the 4th track on side 1.
I have just re-played both albums to remind myself of their condition... (On quite a high end sound system : see photo). So while both albums have some pops and crackles (surface noise) between the tracks, the specifics are as follows :
First album. The rare MONA copy.
Really "Excellent" sound quality on every track apart from some audible surface noice on the very quiet track 5 of side 2. Amazing sound really after all these years. While not 'mint' (see photos) you will not be dissapointed with this copy.
Second album. No.2
Truly not as good as the first album. First two tracks side one are "Excellent" sound quality. Track 3 is very good, Tracks 4 and 5 have some light scratches audible. Nothing nasty.. (I would not put it on my system if I was not happy with the condition..). Just being accurate and critical. Track six is very good too.
The six tracks on side two are all good to very good, surface noise/ pops evident on 3 to 6. Again just being accurate and very critical. My system shows up everything.! (The name 'Beck' is on rear sleeve and on side one of the vinyl.. see photos). All in all a nice decent copy. Eminently playable and enjoyable.
