Description

The Rolling Stones: 1968 UK DECCA 1st Press Stereo LP: 'Beggars Banquet'.

Early production 1st Stereo press with the blue unboxed labels; Sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse with 'Patents Pending' on the back of the sleeve, which was deleted on subsequent pressings; Version 2 stereo label with the speed added to the label; JT tax code on the label and in dead wax; the Cat No. in a small font size on label.
Matrix Side 1: XZAL-8476-2K.  Side 2: XZAL-8477-2K. Pressed from the first Mother on both sides with 8th stamper on Sides 1 & 2.

Visual Grade: Both sides of the vinyl are in a clean strong EX to NM condition with full gloss; Both labels are EX+; the sleeve is a strong EX to EX+ condition, clean with no splits or writing or tears, just a touch of very light handling on the edges, clean inner spread of the sleeve.


Play Grade: Both sides plays a great sounding clean EX to NM.
