Description

An original 1968 mono 1st on Decca Unboxed.. Matrix 2/4. Stampers 1B/1U. Under the Buckingham sequence that is a seriously early copy!..'1B' is the 1st stamper operated on this matrix cut by DECCA.  The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover. We also have an original Decca inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and good lustre. Under close examination I could only make a few very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least Excellent level of playback. A great little player and is clean throughout - even into those fussy numbers. And just remember most of these hits copies have often been played to death...and it will show! But not here! This copy is very well preserved. In my opinion the acoustic nature of this title is very suited to Mono reproduction and sound utterly fantastic on a clean 1st.. Don't be thinking all copies on-line will play like this one. A copy like this will enable you to dig deep into the mix even in the fussy well paired down numbers like NOEXPECTATION. The experience is reverential...you cannot let life slip you by without a great mono 1st on this title. Much much better preserved than the average copy that surfaces. It delivers...and KEEPS delivering the whole way through. You wanna hear 'SFM' a total kickass rendition that will deliver the perfect rendition..? Then take a serious look at this one.....LOVE IT. SNAP IT UP. guaranteed to knock you out - or your money back...
Cover (Vg+) A smart looking cover - but it is exhibiting some light ageing. BUT IT IS CLEARLY VERY TIDY LOOKING.. Clean and flat with minimal creasing. Some edge wear - and more on the spine rendering some of the text illegible. Interior looks great - no issues.. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Slightest ageing. But fully intact.
