This UK MONO 1st pressing dates from initial December 1968 release on the unboxed red Decca label: LK 4955

 

Matrices: XARL-84766-6A & XARL-6477-2A

Stamper codes: 1/CM & 1/UH

Vinyl weight: 153g

 

Housed in an outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono gatefold cover, complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Visual: VERY GOOD +
Audio: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy with several hairlines with light wispy marks visible beneath halogen light. All tracks play very well and without any trace of groove/playwear or indeed any other significant issues. Aside from a few ticks in between tracks 3 & 4 on side 1 there is little else to fault on this respectable example.

Cover: EXCELLENT -

Clean, strong & fully intact with light storagewear to the outer panels and some minor wear to the rear opening edge. All corners are in great shape and the inside of the gatefold is unblemsihed. All seams and the spine are unstressed & unsplit.
