An exceptionally clean & unworn set with only a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
The vinyl: Nr. MINT.
On initial visual inspection The vinyl looks stunning, The original thick and chunky type of vinyl only found on the earliest press. This carries the J.T. Tax code &  still retains its original shine from new. In my opinion this vinyl looks barely ever played more than a handful of times if that! This lays perfectly flat on the turntable! This is the original thicker and deeper grooved type of vinyl only found on original early pressings later pressings were much more flimsy and less robust. Only  in very strong light can possibly, any light sleeve removal marks be seen, (to be honest it is hard for me to see a blemish) At least I can`t see any audio sounding marks that would cause any loud clicks or pops! This playing surface is truly exceptional.

Please see my track comments in the track list. The record sounds superb,there is a little minor surface noise between tracks but there are no pops, clicks, skips or sticks. The whole record was a pleasure to listen to. At 47 years old I don`t think a better one will be easy to find. Give it a go & if you disagree with my opinion I will give you a full refund including postage. 
The Cover: EX.
This is the original  GARROD & LOFTHOUSE INTERNATIONAL LIMITED  (STEREO) gatefold, and the original 1st press cover  In superb condition for 47 years old so rare like this There are (no) splits or tears or nasty names written The laminate is lovely and glossy the spine is in super condition with all writing fully legible.There is very light rubbing/storageware only at the edges and corners at the spine (hardly noticable unless you look for it!). There are a few minor thumb nicks to the opening edge. Please note! when angled to the light you can see a series of tiny prick marks which do not penetrate through. Amazingly hardly any creasings in the laminate worth to mention a few minor creases on the edges only.There is just the lightest ring shape  (not wear,see photos). Inside the gatefold the two panels are pristine. A lovely example of this 47 year old sleeve. Must grade at least excellent.
The inner sleeve is the original blue edged Decca poly lined cover,there are a couple of creases to the bottom corners but is generally in EX. condition......

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
