Description

An original 1st mono pressing of BTB's on the UK Decca label from 1967. Matrix 3A/3A. Please note matrix numbers and label design are consistent with 1st press. Also note the labels exhibit the Decca deep groove that was discontinued later in the year. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original James Upton 'mono' cover. Also included is a Decca company inner sleeve from the time too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In astonishing condition and has clearly only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level  of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I find this title particularly difficult to find in top-level condition, but this example really pulls out all the stops - Best audio I've auditioned on BTB's! A truly stunning rendition from an incredibly fussy record. The audio has absolute top-level transparency. Interference is totally absent. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles the whole way through. Faultless....>FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) Again, BTB's is a difficult title to find in top-level condition. This example, whilst not perfect, is well above average. Lovely shiny with no laminate lift and just one crease down in the bottom left corner. The rear is lovey condition and whilst it hasn't avoided the ageing process totally - it's far better than many examples that surface. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies totally flat.
