An original Boxed copy of BTB on the UK Decca label from Winter 1969-70. Matrix 5k/6k. Stampers 1-CC/1-HM. Please note that both labels are exhibiting the inverted tape numbers and this is very much a throwback to the sixties and disappears over the winter period. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original James Upton cover. Also included is blue and white Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A pretty much faultless rendition delivering great resolution and clarity all the way through. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we could make out were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. A beautiful rendition by any standard.
Cover (Ex-) Lovely shiny front with barely a crease. The rear looks great too and seems to have largely avoided the ageing process. You might detect one or two foxing marks, but little else. Edge wear is very light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) No splits or markings. Lightest ageing.
