Description

The Rolling Stones - Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass). UK Pressing. Cat No: TXS 101. Decca  (green unboxed, wide band label).  

Stereo. Released 1966. Laminated gatefold sleeve with stapled picture booklet. Original Decca blue stereo poly lined inner. 

Side 1: I grade the surface as Excellent with mild hairlines and light marks that do affect play. No significant scratches. Great condition and plays beautifully throughout. The label is clean with evidence of spindle spidering. The matrix number on the run out is XZAL 7503-4W.

Side 2: I grade the surface as Excellent with mild hairlines and light marks that do not affect play. The whole side plays without fault. The label is  clean with evidence of spindle spidering. The matrix number on the run out is XZAL 7504 -3W.

Sleeve: The sleeve is laminated front and back and is graded as Excellent. There are no tears, splits or crease but there is mild edge and corner wear. The wide spine is fully intact and grades well into the Excellent bracket. The booklet grades as Excellent (although there is a small scuff mark at the bottom of page 6). The original blue Decca poly lined inner sleeve is graded as Excellent (-) being slightly creased but with no splits or tears.

A lovely example of this iconic album.
