The Rolling Stones -Charlie Watts on drums vinyl LP Decca 1964 Mono Near Mint.
This record cost me £4.99 in 1964 - In todays money that is equivalent to £103.73 pence.
The great thing about this LP is that is looks and sounds like it did when bought new. The photos are all of the record offered for sale. I have just played it and what struck me was that the silence between the tracks and not a single click bang or pop when each side was played from start to finish. I always played my records with a 1.5gm tracking weight and so they all still play very well.
The cover is excellent and the photos of the band show them as they were in their early twenties. Pure nostalgia. The days that they made mono records are long gone!
A real bargain at £29.99 - this is probably the best record in my collection. I doubt that you will find a better copy of this 1964 Mono record out there.
