Description

FOR SALE: THE ROLLING STONES 'ENGLAND'S NEWEST HITMAKERS' (LONDON LL 3375) & 'THE ROLLING STONES, NOW!'   (LONDON LL 3420)  WITH THE MAROON UNBOXED LONDON LABEL AND THE RARER EDITED REAR COVER.

This auction is for both records. 'England's Newest Hitmakers' does not have the "Color photo"-but is in amazing shape and sounds great (please see the  "condition" section for in-depth detailing about condition and sound.) Each album is a first pressing London records issue. London records are far and away the superior label for LP sound quality, durability and longevity. Both records sound amazing. Excellent EQ. Mick's voice is youthful, crisp and clear and full of energy. Brian Jones silde guitar parts are great, cutting through the band, adding a very exciting dimension.

The Maroon London labels are highly sought after for many reasons, but quality is obviously the ultimate attribute.

Each LP sounds great, with no skipping, interference or surface noise. There may be a minimal amount of hairline surface marks on "ENH"-but that has absolutely no impact on playability. There is no warping or any defects that affect playback. Each record is made of thick, heavy vinyl. The labels are also extremely sturdy. They just don't make records like this now. Most of these new reissues, unless done by Abbey Road, MusicOnVinyl and maybe two other pressing companies are poor quality, especially given what retailers charge for records now. Not these, this is heavy duty stuff. England's Newest Hitmakers is simply amazing and The Rolling Stones, NOW! vinyl is basically blemish free.

Matrix Numbers and other deadwax markings: England's Newest Hitmakers: XARL-6292-1A (stamped); THE ROLLING STONES, NOW!: ARL 6691-1B (etched)

Each album comes with its original LONDON 'ffss' inner sleeve, which are of high quality.

The ROLLING STONES, NOW! has the edited rear cover, which has Andrew Loog Oldham's written remarks advising the record buyer to "rob a blind man" of his change to be able to purchase this new Stones record. Although the original cover containing the blind man remark was edited, the edited version, offered here, is the more valuable of the two.
