THE ROLLING STONES - 'EXILE ON MAIN ST'
This 100% complete UK 1st pressing of their influential double album dates from initial May 1972 release
Both discs bear the yellow Rolling Stones Records labels: COC 69100
Matrix numbers: COC 69100 A2/B1/C1/D2
Vinyl weights: 118g & 147g
The set is housed within an unlaminated thick card stock gatefold cover printed by 'Shorewood Packaging Ltd'
With green & red printed thick card inners, a fully intact set of 12 black & white postcards & original die-cut plain white inner-sleeves

All are clean & unmarked with just a small handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Perfectly clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which display no noticeable surface marks or wear in strong daylight with just a few very light hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve storage/removal visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. All sides of this well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This superb sounding set has received minimal careful play on quality equipment and the sound is clean & clear throughout, free from any trace of any groove/playwear. In fact, apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault sound-wise and much to enjoy
Cover: EXCELLENT
A fully intact example with moderate age-toning to the white areas, along with some shelfwear bruising to the corners
There is no writing or missing paper throughout, the spine is clearly worded and all seams are unstressed and unsplit
Card Inners: EXCELLENT
A little rubbing from storage but no seams stresses or splits
Paper Inners: EXCELLENT
Some storage wrinkles & age discolouration, but no writing, tears or seam splits
Postcards: MINT
Fully intact with no separation/tears to the perforations
