Description

An original 1st press from 1971 on the UK Decca label. Matrix 1W/1W. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. There's also the correct Decca blue and white inner dated to the time of release in summer 1971. So, 100% genuine and  100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In beautiful condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. You'll need to look for a clean player - and this is that copy. It's a clean player throughout even into the acoustic fussy numbers. Love In Vain is about as fussy as they go and I can only make out the odd isolated crackle. It's a really nice player - a keeper that's for sure. Expect nothing more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. Audio quality is excellent.
Cover (Ex) Just taken it out of the original shrink-wrap hence why it looks this fine. The front is nigh on immaculate. Shiny like new without creasing. The rear has avoided most of the usual ageing process, but there's just a light bit of at the top of the opening. There's hardly any edge wear at all and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing with no splits.
