Description

An original 1st issue of GHS on the Rolling Stone label. Matrix A2/B3. Etching 'Rolling Stone Records'. Note how there's no text in the upper half of the labels - these are the 1st issues. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is an original blue and white inner from '73 [not original to this release]. There's also the chocolate brown coloured credit sheet and the promo sheet too.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen reasonably light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with minor deviation in places. By and large a cleanish and decent rendition. Not clean enough to hit the top grades though. I'm picking out a bit of light background in a couple of tracks per side. Not up front at all - anything audible will be low-down in the mix. Still a very impressive and thoroughly enjoyable player.
Cover (Vg+) In decent condition and hasn't been abused like some original covers. Very nice clean front without creasing. The rear is exhibiting a bit of surface wear in a couple of spots [as is very common]. The interior exhibits a bit of surface wear in places. Edge wear is reasonably light and all the text on the spine is 99% legible. Overall the cover retain excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing with no splits.
Promo Sheet (Ex-) Very nice. Just pin holes in each of the four corners.
Credit Sheet (Ex) Superb - no issues at all.
