With no discernible characteristics visible from the album sleeve, there is no way to tell for sure whether or not this copy is a first press edition or a later release. It comes from the personal record collection of a long-time London Records executive, so it could be a first issue, but the only markers that can confirm that are those etched into the dead wax on the vinyl records themselves.

RECORD CONDITION: MINT

Still in its factory sealed plastic shrink with the original promo banner adhered to the front of the album (atop the plastic) this album has been preserved since its release. It’s a brand new, unused, unopened set of two vinyl records in mint condition.

SLEEVE CONDITION: NEAR MINT (/VG+?)

• No cut-out (drill) holes or saw-marks
• No retail stickers or labels or tape marks 
• No writing or markings or paint drops, etc
• No wax residue or leftover glue residue
• No scratches or damage to front or back cover
• No warping or water damage of any kind
• No discoloration from light damage or other environmental impacts

Front and back covers are flawless. Edges are clean and straight with the only exception being a section along the top edge where it looks like it got pinched or pushed in a bit. Corners are sharp with minimal signs of wear at the very tip on some. Sleeve is flat and straight with no signs of bending or warping to shape.

I am not positive if the details I have just described qualify this sleeve as VG+ rather than NM, so I’ve provided the specific details above to be clear about the sleeve’s actual condition. I am happy to provide additional photographs should you want to see any more up-close shots.
