A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE 1968 DECCA RECORDS DEMONSTRATION 45 SINGLE FROM THE ROLLING STONES.

  This is the rare and hardly seen, 1968 UK Decca DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE Vinyl 45 for The Rolling Stones UK single release, originally released on 24-5-68.

  The Demo 45 is on the Blue with Silver Print Decca Record Labels with the Traditional  Bold Silver  ‘A’ label on side 1 and the wording ‘DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE’ printed to both sides of the record labels, together with the catalogue number of  F.12782.

  Both record labels are in beautiful Excellent Plus condition,  superb very clean record labels to both sides, all the printed text is un-faded and clearly legible, all that is visible are a few signs of play around the centre spindle holes.

  The side 1 stamped matrix’s are, XDR-42592-1X  & 6942M, and side 2, XDR-42593-1X & 6943M.

  The stamper lettering and numbers on both sides are, 1D/1D.

  Both sides of the vinyl disc are in superb Near Mint condition, super clean vinyl surfaces to both sides with no deep scratches or scuffs, all that is visible are a couple of light surface hairlines.  

  Both sides of the Demo 45 play with a clear powerful sound quality, there are no clicks, pops, or skips.

  The Demonstration Record comes in it’s Original Blue Decca Company Bag, and is in Excellent condition, no seam splits or tears, just light creases.

  Rolling Stones Demo’s in are becoming impossible to find in this immaculate condition, – not to be underestimated this rare  Demonstration Record can only increase in value over the coming years, this is a very clean example, and play’s with great sound quality
