Description
This is a find!!! Record is fairly common; it is the picture sleeve that is rare. Many times people who purchased 45 records would keep the record and discard the picture sleeve.
Record is from 1967 and is in very good, playable condition. I give it a grade of 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being mint. Record grooves show light scratching and scuffing but none of it is deep.
Record plays all the way through and is good and loud.
The sleeve is intact and is in very good condition. There is some indentation wear showing from the record. Someone has hand-colored the word "Dandelion" in pink on both sides of the sleeve.
Jerry Osborne, in his brand new 2010 Rockin' Records book, gives this record and picture sleeve a combined collectible value range of $310-$425 (see closeup photos).
Collectible value range for the picture sleeve alone is $300-$400.
I have this record and sleeve on consignment from a record collector. He has asked me to set a reserve of $150 which I have. He would also like for the auction to run its full course and will not do buy it now.
