Description
Up for bid is a copy of The Rolling Stones LP Out of Our Heads - 1965 US release on London Records. The outer jacket is not sealed but the record is still sealed (which is why I listed this as “used”).
Jacket is in good shape with some ringwear and slight fading with spots/discoloration on the back cover (as shown in the pictures). The corners, seams, and spine are all in good shape with no major flaws (done minor corner wear). The record is still sealed in the original shrink wrap (half-circle shrink with perforations along the flat edge) and based on visual examination through the wrap there are no marks on the record. Based on what I could find (through a search at the Steve Hoffman website) this was common with records pressed at Columbia record plants through the late 60s.
From what I could tell through the shrink (and as shown in the pictures), the matrix #s indicate this was pressed at the Columbia Pittman plane and are as follows:
Side 1 = PS-429A-1A P
Side 2 = PS-429B-1E P
Record will be removed from the jacket (still in shrink of course) and packed securely in a sturdy cardboard mailer and shipped via USPS Media Mail. If you would like to add insurance, please let me know before payment.
