The Rolling Stones Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Box Set of Original Master Recordings. Limited Edition # 3765.
Contains 11 LP's pressed in Japan, an Art Book, and Geo Disc.
This is an extremely rare, long out-of-print box set. Due to fact that only 10,000 were ever produced this box set continues to increase in value over time. This rare limited edition Mobile Fidelity box set contains half-speed mastered audiophile LP's in custom anti-static sleeves, with a booklet featuring full page reproductions of all the original albums sleeve artwork, plus Geo-disc, all enclosed in a black library case embossed with The Rolling Stones in bright red. This box set even has the original store price sticker on the outside of $250.00.
The envelope containing the warranty is enclosed and is still sealed and states # 3765.
All LP's are in mint condition, absolutely no scratches, and have not been played. Pressed on an exclusive compound call Super Vinyl, it gives each Original Master Recording an extraordinarily quiet playing surface. The LP covers are in good condition with the exception of having slight edgewear to the corners (approximately 1/16") and some on the spine where the box cover closes tightly again them.
The Art Book contains the authentic album cover graphics reprinted in precise graphic detail from the original album cover transparancies. Assembed in chronological order, these graphics (including the legendary "Satanic Majesties" 3D lenticular animation that is featured on the front cover of this book) go hand-in-hand with the Original Master Recordings to present an authentic audio-visual history of The Rolling Stones.
A Geo-Disc is included to allow optium playback potential. This is an ultra-precise alignment instrument which permits you to easily align your turntable's cartridge to within 3/1000th's of an inch accurary. It will improve the playback performance to an incredible degree.
The box itself is in good condition with minor blemishes from shelf wear.
This valuable collector's box set would make an excellent addition to any collection or the ultimate gift for any Stones fan.
