The Rolling Stones No 1 LP.
This is a UK 1st press mono unboxed Decca pressing, with long version of Tell Me & NO Mona listing on the sleeve. Matrix numbers 2A 4A with mothers 1 & 51
Condition of the record is in VERY GOOD+. There's only a few very light non audio affecting sleeve removal marks & one very light nail mark on side 2 seen when viewed under a bright light. No heavy marks or scratches & definitely none that can be felt! The record label shows quite a few spindle marks, but only minor wear around the spindle hole & no writing.
The record has been cleaned on a Moth mk11 pro record cleaner & played throughout on a Project turn table. The audio quality is VERY GOOD+. Great condition for a record that's over 50 years old! The audio is clear with no distortion & next to no background noise, showing that its not been over played & looked after. No annoying tics or clicks, pops, skips or jumps. Just the odd isolated pip associated with a record of this age. No "blues man fag" or "open fire" constantly crackling in the background!
The sleeve condition is VERY GOOD. Fairly clean & presentable with only minor age related wear. Has creases by the opening edge & very light feathering. Small stain on the back cover, but is largely clean with just age related yellowing. The flip backs are solid & unbroken with just light wear to the edges. No writing or sticker tears. Graded very conservatively to the Rare Record Price guide, it's still an enjoyable listen & in no way trashed! Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed for service in the UK. I can safely post up to 3 records in the same bullet proof package, so you can save on postage if you buy multiple records.
