Description

The Rolling Stones  "No. 2"  Decca ? LK 4661, Vinyl, LP, Album, Repress, Mono, Pasted cover released 1965
First released in january 1965. In mid 1965 "blind man" text was censored. Before the censored cover was printed, a paper sheet was pasted on back cover with "blind man" text removed. There is no printer credit and no "Made in England" printed. This is a rare and sought after copy.
A huge hit in the UK upon release, The Rolling Stones No. 2 spent 10 weeks at No. 1 in early 1965, becoming one of the year's biggest sellers in the UK.
record in good shape and plays through without any hop, skip or jump, although there is a slight crackle in the run ins and the quietest of sections. housed in original Decca mono inner sleeve. outer sleeve in good condition - with very light wear to front and back. spine intact and legible. "Anita" has added her name to the back cover.
