Description
You are looking at The Rolling Stones No 2 Album on 12" Vinyl in Mono
This pressing is from 1965, the year of release.
Run out side 1 is stamped "XARL-6619-2A" Run out side 2 is stamped "XARL-6620-2A" with "3D" stamped vertically at 9 o'clock.
This is the version without the "blind man" text on the back
I have played the first and last track of each side and describe the condition as below the quality threshold of "Good" but above that of "Fair"
"Good" is defined as:
"The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches."
Fair is defined as:
"The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump"
The tracks I played did not jump but there was a decent amount of crackling and some distortion. Side 2 is a bit better than side 1 - in any case, I'd say it was closer to being Good than Fair. It's still very listenable.
Cover is "Good", defined as:
"The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc."
The laminate is beginning to deteriorate a bit and there's a split of about 2.5cm on the top right corner and it little damage to the top of the spine.
The inside cover is, I think, original but is not in good shape - one side has split completely and the other has partly gone - the bottom corners are also pretty creased.
The photos form part of the description so please study carefully
