Description
Up for auction today is a UK MONO early press. The Rolling Stones No 2. Decca LK.4661 XARL-6619 1A / 6620 2A. Controversial 'blind man' text is missing so probably 2nd press. I have played this LP from start to finish and it sounds great but it does have a couple of pops and crackles now and then but as you will see from scans it shows only minor spindle wear. Record is graded as Good. The record sleeve was probably passed around a smoke filled household at parties in the 1960s and is miraculously still intact but has some wear and creasing and discolouration and is also graded as good. Someone called Ingela Ljungblom once pasted her contact details on the bottom right of the sleeve in case someone thought they could steal it. Maybe they did and Ingela now wants it back! Please check scans to make sure you are aware that this is not in pristine condition - but in more than acceptable condition. It plays great and thats the main thing.
In view of current problems with my local sorting office and post office I am now using Hermes signed for which I am charging £4.00 to cover costs (even sending 1st class signed for Royal Mail - it could still get stuck for ages).
