Up for grabs here is a very rare first French Stones Not fade Away EP released in January 1965 on blue & silver label Decca France ( it says the date of issue on the the bottom right of the back sleeve).I've always wondered if the song entitled 'Stones' is a misprint or the 1960s Morality Police didnt want to use it's proper titled 'Stoned'..who knows lol?The songs on this ep are amongst my own personal favourites early Stones making this a very sought after item and rightly so especially since it plays lovely. Unlike most of these 60s ep's i've encountered it plays really great with a minimum of background and then mostly in the lead-in groove..Once the music starts it sounds fantastic for a 51 year old record that's lived a little!The sleeve is pretty presentable too.It has a 2 cm split along the top middle of the front sleeve and a small neat signature of it's former owner on the back.In summary a lovely ep in well presentable condition.They don't come up for grabs that often.Any questions are welcome as always.I'll post anywhere world wide at £5.00.Cheers for looking in.All the best,cityrocker :)
