The Rolling Stones Now! 1st Press Mono London LL 3420
On the dead wax: The only matrix numbers stamped on the 1st press are XARL-6691 and XARL-6692, with, in this case, suffixes -1k/-1k.  All of the first press was manufactured by Decca in England (and imported to the US) and it was produced only in mono. (The "1st press stereo" is actually "re-channeled" mono, that is, fake stereo--to be avoided. The first true Stones stereo release was Aftermath.)
The labels: There is only one 1st press label and this is it.  According to the experts on such matters, "NOW! was pressed in very small quantities, so at present no variations are known to exist. All LP's have the long "Made in England By The Decca Record Co LTD" top print version." (Unfortunately, many people have been misled and purchased later pressings, believing they were buying the 1st press.) 
The covers: The back cover contains the edited version of the Andrew Loog Oldham dissertation
Vinyl: VG++ ... Side 1: There is an audible click right at the start. Some barely audible surface noise may be detected on the last two cuts. Side 2: Starts with a couple of clicks, after which it is fine with only a few scattered very low-volume ticks. Otherwise (which is almost all of the record) it plays beautifully. Despite the imperfections, since all the problems are either of very low volume or of momentary duration, this remains an extremely listenable and enjoyable copy.
Covers: VG++ ... Some rubbing along the edges, and some fraying at spots along the spine. No seams splits, just a trace of ring-wear on the front cover. A bit of ring-wear (but less than the photo implies) and some age-related discoloration on the back cover. A very clean jacket, in overall very good shape. 
Packaging includes new audiophile inner sleeve, new outer sleeve, cardboard padding, bubble-wrap and a thick cardboard record box.
