Description
An original re-press of the debut on UK Decca label. Matrix 6A/12A. Label design is consistent with a copy from the early 70's. The vinyl comes housed in an original Mono cover and also includes the original red mono inner sleeve date coded to early 1970 [2-70]. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a few isolated moments and then a couple of light pops in track 2 [brief and over relatively quickly]. Other than that we are talking about a very nice rendition indeed.
Cover (Ex-) Often found looking a bit worse for wear this one is not faring too badly at all. Lovely shiny front without laminate-lift and just a couple of creases. The rear has escaped the worst of the fading that usually afflicts these covers. Edge wear is reasonably light and all text on the spine is still legible. Overall the cover still retain excellent rigidity too.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing and no splits or markings.
