Description

Artist: The Rolling Stones Album: Sticky Fingers Release: COC 59100 (1971, first edition)
First edition of label, because it does not have the inscription "A Promotone N.V. RECORD". Promotone was founded a few months later in September 1971, while the album "Sticky Fingers" was released in April 1971.

The zipper on front cover is completely blank with 2 vertical, indented lines. This kind of zipper is made of a far higher quality of metal than the usual ones, and is easy to spot & date, when compared to similar clothing zippers made in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
vinyl: Side 1: G+ (visually graded... multiple marks, some superficial, a couple that are deeper) Side 2: VG (visually graded, one superficial line across most of the side)
cover: VG+
I generally don't sell records graded below a strong VG but due to the condition and version of this release, I thought someone would want it for the cover. The cover is in really nice shape. I found this in a small collection from a deceased artist and it was in storage since the 70s. Very minor edge wear at the bottom, which is easy to miss, a slight crease to the right of the zipper... and the small, top right flap above the belt is creased.
