The Rolling Stones ?– Sticky Fingers Label: Rolling Stones Records ?– COC 59100 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Zipper cover Country: UK Released:1971 First Press Matrix: Matrix: Side 1: COC 59100 A4 Matrix: Side 2: COC 59100 B3 Insert intact.
Vinyl: Very Good. The vinyl has a reasonable shine to it. Under light you can see wispy needle marks and scuff marks - none of which you can feel to the touch (except one small scratch on track 'Dead Flowers' which you can feel to the touch). Side 1 sounded very good plus: the only thing of note was some light background crackle between tracks and during the quieter passages of music in 'Wild Horses' and 'You Gotta Move' Side 2 sounded very good plus (except 'Dead Flowers' - see below): the only thing of note was some light background crackle between tracks and during the quieter passages of music in 'I Got the Blues' 'Sister Morphine' and 'Moonlight Mile' Jumps during 'Dead Flowers' for about 20 seconds towards the end of the track. Overall - except the 20 seconds during 'Dead Flowers' - it was a great and enjoyable listening experience. Labels. Excellent Sleeve. Very Good. Overall the sleeve is in a very good condition. Some general age related wear - most notable wear at top left of front cover and crease above belt buckle (see close up photos). Also tiny bit of ink at top right of back cover. See photos. The sleeve includes the Andy Warhol Cotton Briefs photograph inside the cover. The Zip is intact but stuck. Insert: Excellent
Plain white inner sleeve.
A great original 1971 A4/B3 matrix pressing of this all time classic Stones album.
