ROLLING STONES - STICKY FINGERS
COC 59100 Matrice End: A3/B3 Complete with original inners, lyric poster sheet and working zip
First UK edition does not have the inscription "A Promotone N.V. RECORD" on labels. Promotone company was founded only a few months later in September 1971 (Amsterdam, Netherlands), while the album "Sticky Fingers" was released in April 1971.
The zipper on front cover is completely blank with 2 indented lines. This kind of zip is made of far higher quality of metal of the usual ones, and is easy to spot & date - when compared to similar clothing zips made in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
A3/B3 matrix is the lower known matrix for this release.
Sleeve opened at both top and bottom. Jeans with a real metal zipper on front that unzips to reveal a man in white briefs.
The set contains also an insert with a pic of the Band on one side and credits on the other side.
Insert says "Printed in England by Richard Davis Ltd." The runouts are stamped except for "T.M.L. ROLLING STONES RECORDS" which is etched.
This is a 1st Press on the Rolling Stones label.
We have play tested this: Plays good with clear audio. There are no clicks, skips, skating or repetitive skip playback, a little bit of quiet background noise in the quiet parts, there are a few quiet pops at the end of track 1 Side A, and a couple more quiet pops along the way, some low level crackles, maybe most prevalent on Side Two, and in the very quiet parts, however the audio is loud and clear and a pleasant listen, of what is a rare record.
The condition of the vinyl is nice and glossy, and looks good.
The cover looks good with just a some slight corner blunting and some slight edge and corner wear, and a small crease near the zip area, the zip remains working, and overall appears in great condition for a 1971 release.

The record is stored in an Anti-Static sleeve, and housed in a 75 microns PP Crystal outer sleeve.
We do not clean vinyl.
All records are shipped outside their covers in their anti-static sleeve, to prevent tears and damage. We ship in specific vinyl cardboard mailers only, to give the correct protection in transit.
