Description

A 1st issue from 1971, whilst still charting, on the UK Rolling Stones label. Matrix A4/B4. Etching "TML / Rolling Stone Records". The Lp comes housed in a top-loading Warhol designed cover printed in Germany with a pinched spine. Also included is the original lyric insert by Richard Davis and the original white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks and one feelable mark [which causes nothing more than a couple of crackles - literally]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal - all we could detect was a touch of light static in a couple of tracks - and even this is minor. The audio on these early copies is amazing - lovely rich sound with super tonality.
Cover (Vg+) Has clearly very carefully cared for down the years an really looks in super condition. The zip is intact and fully operational. There are no heavy creases and a couple of light indentations as is common from the zip. There's a bit of ageing down on the bottom left and the flap at the top is missing . There's only light edge wear and all text on the spine is readable. Overall a very nice specimen of this genuine and hard to find original classic LP.
Lyric insert (Ex) No issues at all. Great condition.
Inner (Vg+) No side splits. Bit of ageing.
