The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers Vinyl LP "Pan" Zip COC 59100 A3/B3 1971 VG+

Classic 1971 Rolling Stones LP 'Sticky Fingers' with infamous Andy Warhol zip sleeve. This version has A3/B3 matrix numbers and "A Promotone N.V.Record" wording on centre labels, indicating that it is an early version, but not the very earliest (which didn't have the Promotone text). 
Sleeve has the large round zip with "PAN" etched on, with the "Andy Warhol" text on the briefs on the panel behind. On the spine it says "printed in Germany". So it may be that the sleeve and record are mismatched (I think the record itself is a UK release as the early German and Dutch releases had a different label design as far as I am aware) but both disc and sleeve are early variants. 
Because I am not exactly certain about the details of sleeve and record (but have described both to the best of my ability) and they may not be an original "pair", I am offering this item in an auction with a low starting price... A bit about Red Brick Retro: my vintage and retro shop was born in 2017, when I decided to make the leap from a 15+ year career in charity retail to running my own business. I knew that I wanted to keep my stock offering fairly wide-ranging, but with a focus on the period that interests and inspires me - c.1960-1990. Music, books and film and are the core of my business, reflecting my interest in these spheres going back to my days as a Media Studies student in the 1990s. I also have a love for fashion, arts and design with a retro/vintage vibe, so pieces of this nature also find space in my virtual shop. After a first couple of years mainly selling in antiques centres and at fairs in East Anglia/the East Midlands, in 2020 I transitioned to become primarily an online business.
