The Rolling Stones 'Through the past darkly' UK MONO ORIGINAL!! Original Red Decca label!!!
Hello and welcome to this auction! I am primarily a collector of records- specialising in 1960/ 70s pop, psyche and rock, however I do occasionally like to sell some of my extremely rare items from my collection, these are usually only sold if I have acquired an upgrade on this particular copy. As a collector I believe in the strictest POSSIBLE grading for any records, there is nothing more disappointing than an over graded record. I have been collecting for around ten years so I do have a good experience of how to grade accurately using the standard RC grading system. Usually I will not sell records below a grading of ‘Good’ unless it is of value in terms of its rarity. I realise as a newcomer to ebay there may be concerns of my grading and reputation however I endeavour to pack and post my records as soon as payment has been confirmed so bid with confidence. This particular auction I will be offering a very rare first pressing of The Rolling Stones infamous 'Through The Past Darkly' album from 1968, this particular copy is the much rarer Mono version on the original red Decca label, this one is in nice condition, and plays very well, the cover grading around Very Good Minus, some general age is showing however is still in one piece. The record playing surface is nice and clean with the exception of a few very light surface markings which are visable but these are nothing severe at all!! The audio quality is Nice! Graded as Very Good- Very Good plus- a great listening copy! The original Inner is present however is torn and in poor condition!
