The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones (Original UK Mono 1st Pressing (2A/3A) LK 4605)
U.K. 1st pressing with unboxed red/silver Decca label with the ear logo at 2 o'clock. Upper label rim states ''Made in England The Decca Record Co.Ltd". The back cover lists ''Mona'' as track A4, the cover has ''flipbacks'': top and bottom are folded over the back cover.
The Vinyl is in Very Good condition. There are surface marks and some light scratches which produce some crackles and occasional clicks but no jumps or sticking. Overall a good sound and an enjoyable listen.
The front laminated flipback sleeve is in Good condition. There are three sellotape repairs; one on the middle of the spine, one on the front right running from the sleeve opening and another on the left side of the back cover again running from the sleeve opening (there is a small tear under this repair). There is some writing on the back cover at the top left and near the middle of the right hand side.
Both labels are in Excellent condition with no marks or writing.

Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
