which states: First pressing with lenticular gatefold sleeve, turquoise coloured label, unboxed Decca logo & red / white inner sleeve.
Copies with ending matrix 1P/P1 are true mono mix. The easiest way to verify this mono mix is play and listen the song "The Lantern": at the beginning there must be number 3 tolling bells, otherwise is a fold down mix. Copies with "T2" on matrix are later copies and have a fold down mix.

Original lenticular gatefold sleeve is in good order, nice inside and with the holographic image clean and intact
Original inner sleeve ripped across the bottom edge - replacement sleeve for LP included
The LP has a slight but noticeable warp but this has no impact on audio quality and the labels have some wear in the centre from past use
There are a few marks from past use on both sides, so not perfect visually, definitely been well played in its time... However their impact is minimal …so still a player!
A couple of scratches side 1 (see photos) cause light ticks through some of tracks 1 and 4. Rest of side one sounds very good overall, as does side 2.
Side two -plays great ( like a rainbow superb) - 3 bongs on the bell at start of Lantern correct for release and indicator of true mono 1st press rather than 'fold down from stereo' - there is a fair bit of light crackle …a few scrapes here and there - no skips or loud pops though
All round a good example of a highly sought after rare issue …
PLEASE VIEW ALL THE PHOTOS AND THE VIDEO/AUDIO CLIP - GIVES A FAIR IDEA OF SOUND EXPERIENCE. LOW START , RELATIVELY, AND NO RESERVE. 10-DAY AUCTION...OR A VERY TEMPTING BUY IT NOW OPTION BEFORE BIDS START...PERHAPS?
