During the “Voodoo Lounge” world tour played in gigantic stadiums between 1994 and 95, the Rolling Stones decided to give a handful of intimate and stripped-down concerts in small venues, in the “unplugged” spirit of the time. In Paris, 2,000 privileged people were able to attend the unique concert given at the Olympia on July 3, 1995, following two giant concerts at the Longchamp Hippodrome. Titles from Olympia were already published in 2016 during the reissue of the documentary “Totally Stripped” but mixed with those from Paradiso in Amsterdam and Brixton Academy in London, recorded under the same conditions. This is therefore the first time that this concert, awaited by fans, has been released alone and in its entirety, on triple vinyl.
